Special Fundraising Performances At the Playhouse
 

Looking for creative ways to raise funds for your organization?

The Long Beach Playhouse provides fine opportunities for your organization to fundraise. A “Benefit Performance” can be booked for less than ½ our regular ticket price per seat and your organization can sell tickets for whatever price it desires. All ticket proceeds are then yours.

Both the 98-seat Studio Theatre and the 200-seat Mainstage Theatre are available for “Benefits” on Thursday evenings with a 7:30 curtain time. A few Sunday matinees are also available with 2:00 p.m. curtain times. A reception can be held ½ hour before curtain time or during the 20-minute intermission, if desired. Many groups also generate additional income by holding a drawing or silent auction.

Benefits may be booked throughout the year, but it is best to plan as far in advance as possible so your organization has time to sell as many tickets as possible. The Mainstage Season is announced in August and dates are available for booking once the season is set. Likewise, the Studio Season announces its shows in February and those dates are available shortly after.

Benefit prices are as follows:
 

Studio Theatre – 98 Seats
Plays $900 ($9.18 per ticket)
Coffee (optional) $12.50

Mainstage – 200 Seats
Plays $1800.00 ($9 per ticket)

Coffee (Optional) $25.00

The Playhouse produces 16 shows each year (eight in each theatre) providing a wide range of productions from which to choose. Parking for patrons is free and all seats are excellent!
