(Sides Provided). Bring a great HEAD SHOT and resume. All ethnicities encouraged to audition. This is an Equity waiver production. Union and Non Union actors are encouraged to audition. |

| Esther | 30 to 35, Female, African-American, Petite, hard working seamstress who dreams big dreams. | |
| Mrs. Dickson | 45 to 50, Female, African-American, nosey landlady given to gossip. | |
| Mrs. Van Buren | 25 to 35, Female, Caucasian, Attractive, wealthy society lady, craves the attention and affection that she does not receive from her husband. | |
| Mr. Marks | 30 to 35, Male, Caucasian, Handsome, Romanian Jewish immigrant, torn between the dictates of his faith and his own desires. | |
| Mayme | 30 to 35, Female, African-American, Thin, prostitute who dreams of being a respectable lady, ability to play piano a plus but not required. | |
| George | 30 to 35, Male, African-American, Barbadian immigrant, strong physical laborer, can be both charming and abusive when it serves his purpose. | |
